Dry Needling

Integrative dry needling is a treatment modality where the certified therapist inserts a small filament needle into the skin and deeper tissues that can be correlated to musculoskeletal pain and impairments. One theory is that dry needling causes a micro lesion in the tissues creating a chemical response in the body enhancing the body’s healing process. Areas/impairments that dry needling can help improve include pain in the neck, back, shoulder, elbow (tennis or golfers elbow), knee, jaw (TMJ), leg pain, inflammation (like tendinitis, plantar fasciitis) and headaches.
