Marco Volpe – PT, DPT, OCS

Marco Volpe has been practicing Physical Therapy for the past 30 years. Mr. Volpe was the Director of Downtown Physical Therapy & Rehab in Boston, specializing in neck and TMJ dysfunctions in an orthopedic based, outpatient practice for 26 years. Mr. Volpe has served as Rehab Director for the North End Rehab and Nursing Center and as a home care therapist for the North End Community Health Center. He has also worked at Spaulding Rehab, Belmont VNA and at the GELB TMJ Clinic at Tufts Dental School.

Mr. Volpe received his Bachelor of Arts in General Sciences from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He then went on to get a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University’s Sergeant College of Allied Health Professionals and was awarded board certification in Orthopedics in 1995 from the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association). Mr. Volpe then received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston.

He has taught and lectured at various schools such as Tufts Dental School, Boston University and Simmons College and has given seminars on various topics. He was past chair of the Finance Committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the APTA and remains on the board an as an Assembly Representative at the state level. He has also served as a delegate to the APTA House of Delegates, at the national level. Marco Volpe now serves as the Health Care Services Board’s physical therapy representative.
